Monument to the Rev. Samuel Kirkland, missionary to the Oneidas, chaplain in the Revolutionary armies and founder of Hamilton College, and Sconondoa, the great Oneida chief, in the Hamilton College cemetery. The insignia of the Sons of the American Revolution stands against each monument. Crow Hill, 1303 feet sea elevation, in the distance.
