The Schenectady County Public Library owns the 1930 Census microfilm, and you may prepare for your research by consulting this list of the 83 Enumeration Districts within the county. The information presented here has been adapted from the National Archives and Records Administration site.
The Schenectady County portion of the 1930 Census (National Archives publication T626) is contained on microfilm rolls 1644-1646. Note that the numbers of enumeration districts are not contiguous on the rolls, so you'll need to check the roll number as you go down the list.
The institutions included in the census (hospitals, convents, jail, etc.) have been interfiled with the geographic listing.
